The week of Independence Day is always busy for the Negaunee City Band and this year is no different. Because July 4 fell on a Wednesday the concert was postponed until Thursday, but the crowd and the weather were typical for Wednesday night at the Negaunee Performing Arts Facility.
Director Brandon Nelson chose a patriotic concert in honor of the 4th, featuring several numbers by Henry Fillmore.
We go back to our regular Wednesday night concert for Pioneer Days in Negaunee next week. Come early, it’s going to be a large crowd!
