The evening was warm and beautiful at the Negaunee Performing Arts Center at the top of Iron Street.

Director Brandon Nelson programmed another wonderful concert, with piece ranging from J.S. Bach to Aha, with just a touch of J.P. Sousa to keep things marching along.

This is a good opportunity for the band to send out a great big thank you to the Marquette County Community Fund for awarding a grant to the NCB for the purchase of new percussion instruments.  Those instruments are being chosen now and will soon be posted up in the back of the band.  We will make an announcement at the concert when they arrive.

Again, the crowd makes the concert for the band, and the great folks that come out to see us every Wednesday throughout the summer were in full force this week.
