How the time flies! The pandemic-shortened season has already come and gone, and the Negaunee City Band performed it’s last concert of the 2021 season at the Performing Arts Facility.

It was cloudy during the afternoon, but the threatening rain did not make an appearance, it was another beautiful night.

Thanks to the band, for their efforts in coming together to perform after a long pandemic break. Thanks to the officers and equipment managers, who help everything run more smoothly. Thanks to Brandon Nelson, for all the work he does to make sure we are prepared for concerts in the summer and have new and interesting music to practice throughout the year.
Thanks to the City of Negaunee for their continued support, to the Negaunee Community Fund for their generous contribution which helped to purchase new percussion instruments, but mostly to the amazing audience who shows up every week, literally rain or shine, to support the band. Without you we’re just a bunch of people playing to ourselves. The audience makes the show, and we have the best!
See you early in December for the lighting of the Christmas Tree in Breitung Park! (Ugh.:)
